After reading these essays it showed me that everyone has a different view on what it means to be educated. Each person goes through some rough times in their lives and their own struggles which teaches them new things each and every day. My favorite essay was the last one when her grandmother had not went to school but was really smart and taught her grand daughter some morals. She was even able to learn how to speak several different languages just by traveling from country to country.
